Intelligent and fault tolerant search technology

You loose your visitors if they don’t get results through the provided search. This is very annoying, because someone who searches something on your website is often a prospect.

It is possible that this has nothing to do with the contents of your website, the visitor may just make a mistake or use another word, a synonym, for their search.

Because of this we have developed a phonetic full-text search. Similar to Google, it detects words even if the searcher made a spelling error, and provides the right spelling with „Do you mean“.

Furthermore, a German thesaurus is integrated which can be edited in the admin area.

The convenient autocomplete function with Ajax basis often detects search keywords and provides possible suggestions already after the input of the first letters (<<Softw … >>).

Integrated Search Engine Optimization

Visitors come to your website via search engines. For a full acceptance and a good rank, also without commercial search engine advertising, it is necessary to fulfill some technical requirements.

Simplessus CMS works conformable with principles and standards of the big search engines like Google, Yahoo! and MSN (Whitehat SEO) and creates for example, generally short, ballast free and »speaking« URLs.

The URLs of deleted or moved pages with the HTTP-Headers »301 Moved Permanently« and »410 Gone« are kept in the system for a definite time. This is very important if for example, product pages of your eShop are indexed in search engines. If the URLs of pages change, then prospects normally get the unsatisfying message „Not found“. With Simplessus CMS your visitors will be forwarded directly to the new product page.

With special modules you can analyse your online marketing campaign overall search engines. Which keywords are found, which promotion links and landing pages are especially well frequented and which phrases still need optimisation.

Digital Asset Management

In the central Digital Asset Management you can organise all files used in the system, such as images, downloadable documents and presentations. Thanks to the authorisations, administration users only get the access to the files for which they have the rights.

Used files can not be deleted and you always have an overview of where they are currently used. So the data integrity of your Website is always guaranteed and for example images can not suddenly be absent.

Furthermore the DAM simplifies your work because you can upload all your files in the system from your browser and you can edit and tag them there.
